When you stand in front of any work, there’s an exchange that happens. I love watching it (aka creeping in the background).

I wish I could have brought the rest of you here! Maybe one day…when I get my private jet.

Had such a fun first weekend of EAST, it was great meeting you all. Very excited to have some of you as new collectors, and loved all our convos. It was fun talking with some of you at the show this weekend about how I treat color in my work. Before I start, I have to have them right. I don’t need a plan for what I’m going to do (tried that once and it flew out the window), but I do need the language. I mix small batches of custom colors like this and keep them on hand so I don’t have to think about it as I’m working 🙇🏻‍♀️
